This is the view from my first lodgings in Rishikesh. The bridge was built in 1942 and even for todays standards, seems very modern, though does swing from side to side, when the wind picks up. The building in the background is a large local Ashram that is mainly used by Indians. On each level is a donation box. Money and religion are never far apart here.Saturday, 28 November 2009
RISHIKESH.....VIEW FROM MY ROOM
