SWAP SHOP

Dave I am standing infront of a white pick up, holding a can of pop and to the left of 10 little kids. We are doing strong man poses and the fella in the purple T-shirt was all of 10 years and my helper for the trips to the tip, with the recycling material. He was a star. Swap shop happens on a tuesday and it is where children of the Township can hand in any recycable rubbish for points, then buy essentials for school with those points. I of course rocked up, thinking i would be sitting, talking to the kids! No, as the man, I was on bag lifting and driving duty, ie physical work !!! I loved it. I had four of the children in my truck singing Africa's national anthem. Beautiful!!! And it was me who kept saying, "Again...again!!" We all laughed alot. I offered one of the kids the rest of my soft drink and about 5 of the other kids swarmed over it. They really do go without much in life. I shall never look at a can of Sprite in the same way again.
